Find three coins. It doesn't matter what kind of coins they are, just that you can tell heads from tails. I've found that using the same coins over and over tend to attune them to your personal vibe.

Relax and carefully consider the question you would like to ask. Bear in mind that specific answers are not possible. The I Ching is suited to answering questions asking for insight into causes and effects. You might like to burn some incense (amber, pine resin, myrrh, dragon's blood, white sage, and patchouli, etc.) and/or light a white or yellow candle to set your environment.

Type your question into the form. As you consider the question, imagine a golden or amber light spiraling from above into the crown of your head. Visualize this light as soul knowledge coming to you from the spirit realm. Gently shake the coins and then cast them down. Record the result on the form by clicking the corresponding radio button. Repeat this five more times as you think on the question. Once all six coin tosses have been recorded click "continue."
